Scholarship advice

Student: Mr. Varrato, what’s the NRA?
Me: The National Rifle Association, why?
Student: I wrote an essay for their scholarship.
Me: What was the topic?
Student: Gun control.
Me: And what did you say?
Student: No one should be allowed to have them. They’re dangerous.
Me: You’re not getting that scholarship.
